In summary
The Executive Coaching Alliance website (“the site”) and its member services are provided by Dan Margetts Consulting and Coaching, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42133078. The Executive Coaching Alliance is the shared name under which independent coaches present themselves on the site. It is not a company, an association or a partnership.
- What a subscription is. A personal licence to use the site and its member services (a public profile, the members’ Resources area, events, charity auctions and coaching tools) while it runs. It gives no ownership, vote or share of profits.
- For businesses only. Subscriptions are sold to coaches for their businesses. Business details and VAT numbers given at sign-up must be true.
- Fees. Monthly, in advance, plus any VAT, collected by Stripe. No minimum term: cancel at any time and the subscription runs to the end of the month paid for. Fee changes are notified at least 30 days ahead.
- Independent practice. Members are independent professionals, responsible for their own coaching, clients and terms.
- Professional indemnity insurance. Not needed to join. Needed, at £500,000 or €500,000 per claim or more, to take part in charity auctions or bids with other members. Members see each other’s cover.
- Confidentiality and tools. What members share with each other stays within the Alliance. The coaching tools may be used with clients but not copied or recreated.
- Liability. Limited to the subscription fees paid in the previous 12 months, except for intent or deliberate recklessness.
- Law. Dutch law; the court in Amsterdam.
